About Marma Therapy

Marma points are vital junctions of muscles, veins, ligaments, bones and joints described in Sushruta Samhita. Marma therapy stimulates selected points with fingers or thumbs, usually with oil.

Marma therapy is used to ease pain and restore the flow of Prana (vital energy) in the affected area.

How Marma therapy is done

  1. Doctor assessment of pain and posture.
  2. Selection of marma points.
  3. Gentle rhythmic pressure with oil.
  4. Home exercises and advice.

Precautions before Marma therapy
