A wellness session and a clinical treatment recommendation may look similar in a photograph. Their purpose, assessment and follow-up can be different. If you are booking because of a health problem, ask how the service is being offered and who is responsible for deciding whether it is appropriate.
1. Clarify the purpose of the appointment
Are you seeking relaxation, help with a diagnosed condition or assessment of a new symptom? Say this when booking. Ask whether you will see a doctor before a procedure and whether the service is intended as wellness support or part of medical care.
2. Ask about assessment and supervision
Find out who reviews your medical history and how medicine interactions or contraindications are handled. A session menu alone is not an individual assessment. For a clinical recommendation, ask what diagnosis or working explanation is being considered and whether referral is needed.
3. Expect clear consent and a record
Understand the proposed procedure, possible discomfort, alternatives and cost. Ask for relevant instructions in writing. You should be able to decline or stop a session. Keep a note of what was used and who to contact if a reaction develops afterwards.
4. Judge claims carefully
Words such as authentic, natural or premium do not prove safety or clinical effectiveness. Be cautious about guaranteed cures or advice to stop established treatment without coordination. A credible explanation acknowledges uncertainty and describes how your progress will be reviewed.
Before your appointment
Write down your main concern and when it started.
Keep recent reports and all medicine or supplement names ready.
Ask what the next step is and when the plan will be reviewed.
This guide is general patient information. It cannot diagnose your condition or decide which medicine or procedure is suitable for you.
