Panchakarma consultation in Varanasi
Panchakarma is a set of classical Ayurvedic procedures selected according to an individual assessment. It is not the same as a general spa massage, and every person does not need every procedure. The word detox in a package name should not be treated as proof that unspecified toxins are removed.
Assessment before booking
At Aarogyam Shri Ayurveda, review your symptoms, health history, pregnancy status, medicines and relevant tests with the clinician. Ask which procedure is proposed, why it is suitable, and whether a simpler consultation or external therapy would meet your goal.
Preparation, procedure and aftercare
A course may involve preparation, a selected main procedure and a structured aftercare routine. Oils, heat, diet and any internal procedure need individual supervision. Vamana, Virechana, Basti and Nasya are not self-care procedures to try at home.
Ask about hydration, diet, rest, transport, expected discomfort and warning symptoms. Purging, vomiting or enemas can carry risks including dehydration and electrolyte disturbance. Acute illness, pregnancy and significant heart, kidney or other disease require specific clinical review.
Understand your quote
Request a written breakdown of consultation, preparation, medicines, sessions, consumables and follow-up. Duration depends on the selected care; there is no universal number of days or guaranteed result. Do not stop necessary medical treatment for a course.
