Fatty liver care in Varanasi
If your ultrasound mentions fatty liver, a proper assessment is more useful than a detox package. Fatty liver may cause no symptoms. The metabolic form is now often called MASLD; older reports may use NAFLD. An ultrasound grade alone does not establish the amount of liver scarring.
Reports and risk review
Bring your ultrasound, liver blood tests, sugar and cholesterol reports, and prescriptions. The doctor reviews weight, alcohol intake, medicines and other possible liver conditions. Additional tests or a liver specialist may be advised to assess fibrosis risk.
Diet, activity and Ayurvedic consultation
A gradual, sustainable plan for food portions and activity is central to metabolic fatty liver care. Extreme fasting and rapid weight loss are not a shortcut. Where overweight is present, suitable weight reduction can help; targets should be individualised.
At Aarogyam Shri Ayurveda, discuss diet, routine and whether any complementary Ayurvedic care is appropriate alongside medical follow-up. Herbal products and supplements are not automatically liver-safe. Share every ingredient and avoid self-prescribed liver cleanses. Do not replace diabetes or cholesterol treatment without your doctor.
Monitoring and warning signs
Review progress using clinical assessment and advised tests, not symptoms alone. Yellow eyes, vomiting blood, black stools, increasing abdominal swelling or confusion require prompt medical help. New jaundice should not wait for a routine appointment.
